Production Hall MODERNÍ TRUHLÁRNA Švihov
In June 2025, we completed the production and assembly of a new steel hall for the company MODERNÍ TRUHLÁRNA s.r.o. in just four weeks. The hall, measuring 21.3 × 20.15 m and with an eaves height of 7.0 m, offers a clear height of 6.0 m under the truss and will serve as the production area of the company engaged in furniture manufacturing from September 2025.
Moderní truhlárna builds a bridge between future and tradition. On one hand, it uses the most advanced CNC technologies, which guarantee precision, speed, and perfect processing down to the last millimeter. On the other hand, it preserves the spirit of honest craftsmanship – manual work, a feel for the material, and experience remain irreplaceable.
To ensure maximum efficiency of movement within the hall and precise placement of entrances, we designed an uneven distribution of load-bearing frames in the steel structure. The project also included a solution for angled connection to the existing building, with an emphasis on the structural independence of both objects.
As part of the preparatory work, we also integrated load-bearing elements for climbing plant consoles and designed the hall structure for photovoltaic panel loads with a capacity of up to 40 kg/m².
HALL PARAMETERS:
Purpose: production hall – joinery and model workshop
Color: white RAL 9010 and anthracite RAL 7016
- Structure – steel structure, color RAL 9002 (grey-white), fire resistance R 15 DP1
- Roof – Built-up roof COMBI ROOF 220 mm. The roof price includes trapezoidal sheet 150/280/0.75, thermal insulation, waterproofing (membrane), sheet metal finishing, fasteners, and downpipes to floor level.
- Walls – Facade made of sandwich PIR panel – thickness 120 mm (KS1150 NF thickness 120 mm, fire resistance EW/EI 30 DP3). More about the panels can be found in the Materials/Sandwich panels section.
- Windows – Plastic windows, color RAL 7016 (anthracite), infill insulated double glazing, size 1.2 x 1.25 m, 6 pcs
- Doors – Plastic doors with panic lock and lowered threshold, color RAL 7016 (anthracite), size 1.1 x 2.1 m, 1 pc, and plastic doors with lowered threshold, color RAL 7016 (anthracite), size 1.2 x 2.1 m, 1 pc
- Gate – Sectional gate with glazed section, color RAL 7016 (anthracite), size 4.6 x 3.65 m, 1 pc
- Roll-up gate – Industrial roll-up gate, color RAL 7016 (anthracite), size 3.3 x 3.65 m, 1 pc
