ALUPROF Facade System
Our supplier of this ALUPROF facade system is the company THERMONT s.r.o., with whom we have been cooperating for several years. There are many systems that can be used for lightweight curtain walls. The basic type is designated MB-SR50N, from which the mullion-free type MB-SR50N EFEKT is derived, or there are other types offered by the ALUPROF system manufacturer.
MB-SR50N – exterior system
The glazed facade system of the MB-SR50N, MB-SRN HI+ mullion-transom facade is designed for the production of lightweight curtain walls of suspended or infill type. This system allows the construction of facades with narrow dividing lines, while at the same time ensuring the durability and strength of the structure. Thanks to the wide range of profile depths, architects and designers can realize diverse projects in the field of aluminum glazed facades. To achieve optimal thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as to simplify the installation of the facade in the MB-SR50N HI+ system, a PE material insulator is used, which provides very good thermal insulation (Uf from 0.7 W/m2K), and its shape ensures correct screw insertion during the glazing of the facade. Aluprof aluminum glazed facades ensure plenty of natural light in halls or administrative buildings and also provide a representative appearance. According to your own choice, you can select various types of glass, such as insulating, laminated, or reflective glass, or glass with burglary resistance.
Characteristic features influencing the functionality and aesthetics of MB-SR50N HI+ facades:
- Mullions and transoms with “sharp” edges, allowing the construction of a structure with the appearance of a uniform skeleton
- Angular connections enabling any shaping of the facade
- Various types of cover strips and a wide range of cladding profiles ensure many aesthetic variants of the facade
- Wide selection of openable elements in the facade: various types of windows and doors, including roof windows, windows integrated with the facade, as well as tilt and parallel opening windows MB-SR50N OW.
- Large range of glazing (double, triple, and even quadruple glazing) and a wide selection of available insulators and accessories allow for achieving a high level of thermal insulation
- Option to add sunshades or glass canopies on tie rods
MB-SR50N EFEKT – exterior system
The glazed facade semi-structural system of the MB-SR50N EFEKT mullion-transom facade represents a facade system that creates, from the outside, the impression of uniform smooth surfaces without visible aluminum profiles (glazing strips). From the outside, only the glass infills separated by joints of structural silicone are visible. The system offers very good thermal insulation (Uf from 0.66 W/m2K).
MB-45 – interior system
The MB-45 system is designed for interiors without the requirement for thermal insulation. The MB-45 system offers solutions for various types of partitions, windows and doors, both standard and sliding (with manual or automatic operation). An interesting and economically advantageous solution is the MB-45D smoke-proof door without fire resistance (in class S30). The system serves as a basis for further solutions such as MB-45 OFFICE (without load-bearing partitions). On the basis of the MB-45 system, it is also possible to construct smoke-tight doors in class Sa, S200.
MB-60E EI – fire protection system
The MB-60E system is designed for interiors without the requirement for thermal insulation, but with an emphasis on the fire resistance of structures in combination with glass or solid infills. It is an economically advantageous solution for fire doors and walls up to class EI30. Smoke-tight doors are, of course, available. The system is fully certified.
