Administrative Glass Hall X Shift Chropyně

At the end of March 2024, we completed an administrative glazed hall for the company X Shift Gearboxes, dimensions 12.4x17 m, height at the attic 7.3 m. The clear height on the ground floor under the truss is 3.0 m, and on the first floor also 3.0 m. X Shift Gearboxes has been operating on the market since 1999. The company is engaged in the development and production of sequential gearboxes for racing cars of world brands such as Subaru and Mitsubishi, where maximum emphasis is placed on precision and shifting during various motorsport competitions. The administrative hall is connected to the production hall with an administrative extension, which no longer meets the spatial or design needs of the successfully growing company X Shift Gearboxes.

The structure is designed and built with 12 columns with a diameter of 300 mm, with the structure exposed everywhere in RAL 7016 color. The building envelope is half made of the ALUPROF MB-SR50N glazed facade system, complemented by Cool-lite safety solar control glass. The rest of the hall is clad with sandwich panels 140 mm thick, and the roof is a built-up roof 300 mm thick with drainage in the center of the hall.

The hall is complemented by many design elements. The main interior features are the aforementioned glazed walls, a glass elevator, and a designer staircase. From the outside, the emphasis is on functionality, so the facade at the office area is fitted with solar control louvers to prevent overheating of the interior in summer. There are two entrances to the administrative hall, one for visitors and the other for handling, both equipped with glass canopies on stainless steel rods.

Color: anthracite RAL 7016 and dark silver RAL 9007

• Structure – steel structure, fire resistance R 15 on the 2nd floor, R30 on the ground floor
• Metalwork elements - 2 pcs fire escape ladders with dry risers, full interior staircase
• Design features - 2 pcs glass canopies on stainless steel rods, stairs with railing, glass elevator, glazed offices, aluminum sunshades
• Roof - built-up combi roof, thickness 260 mm. The roof price includes trapezoidal sheet 150/280/0.88, thermal insulation, waterproofing (membrane), sheet metal finishing, fasteners, and downpipes to floor level
• Walls - cladding from sandwich PIR panels - thickness 120 mm, fire resistance EW 30 DP3). More about the panels can be found in the section Materials/Sandwich panels
• Windows and doors - aluminum doors for both interior and exterior, with electric panic locks
• Glazed facade - ALUPROF MB-SR50N system facade with safety glass on the interior and Cool-lite solar control glass, complemented by aluminum sunshades
• Sliding doors - automatic interior, plus 2 pcs HS portals
