In December 2025, we completed and handed over a production hall to the investor at Šteklův mlýn in Dolní Chvatliny. The hall will serve as a carpentry workshop with social and office facilities. For this project, our company redesigned the structural solution from the originally proposed timber building to a steel prefabricated hall. The scope of work included new drawings, fire safety solutions, and static as well as fire calculations for the steel structure.
In the original project, an additional two-storey building was designed at the gable wall. Therefore, we designed the hall so that this two-storey building can be added in the future without complications.
At the investor's request, we lowered the base of the hall's sandwich panels to the floor level. The hall is also prepared for the possible future installation of photovoltaic panels.
The end and widest module of the hall is designated for the office, while the remaining production area is narrower. This achieved a functional roof overhang on the entrance side of the hall.
The assembly of the superstructure on the investor-prepared foundations took four weeks.
