On Sunday, 20 September 2026, an Open Day was held at the new sports hall in Chropyně. The special event gave the public an opportunity to tour the modern sports complex before it became fully operational. The programme included tours of the hall, speeches by city and regional representatives, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and demonstrations by local sports clubs.
PROMO HALY participated in the project as the supplier of the prefabricated steel structure, roof and wall cladding, and other key parts of the hall. Thanks to continuous photographic documentation, it was possible to follow the transformation from December 2025 onwards, from a previously unused area that served as a car park to the completed modern sports hall.
Over the course of several months, the building progressed from earthworks and foundations through the installation of the load-bearing structure, roofing and cladding to the completion of the interiors and outdoor areas. The project also includes new pavements, 33 parking spaces, lawns, and newly planted greenery. A photovoltaic power plant was installed on the roof of the building, helping to ensure its energy-efficient operation.
The new multi-purpose hall will provide facilities primarily for tennis, as well as futsal, handball, volleyball, basketball, badminton, and other sports activities. The hall offers complete facilities for athletes and visitors, including changing rooms, sanitary facilities, spectator areas, and other essential operational spaces.
The grand opening confirmed that Chropyně has gained modern sports facilities that will serve not only sports clubs and schools, but also the general public. We are delighted to have been part of a project that will contribute to the development of sports and leisure activities in the region.
